On January 14th, 2020, the Specs Howard School of Media Arts officially celebrated its 50th anniversary. The first class to attend the school was only six students. Today, we graduate hundreds of students yearly in three different areas of media studies: the original Broadcast Media Arts, as well as Digital Media Arts and Graphic Design. On the date of the school's anniversary, the staff of the Specs Howard School of Media Arts came together to honor both the school, and the man whose name it bears, Specs Howard. He gave a small speech, which you can watch below!
