Let us explain not only how to get a behind the scenes glance of what we do here at Specs but why you should want to.    ## Why You Should Want To: Go Behind The Scenes At Specs Howard   Just over a year ago, the developers at [Periscope](http://www.periscope.tv) became fascinated by the idea of discovering the world through someone else’s eyes. What if you could see through the eyes of a protester in Ukraine? Or watch the sunrise from a hot air balloon in Cappadocia? It may sound crazy, but they wanted to build the closest thing to teleportation. While there are many ways to discover events and places, they realized there is no better way to experience a place right now than through live video. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but live video can take you someplace and show you around. Specs Howard is different from many other schools. We're a school full of [creatives](https://info.specshoward.edu/social-stay-creative-ty). From our instructors, to our students, to our faculty. We want you to learn more about us than just what's written on our website or our print pieces. We think it is important to show our students, potential students, and our community what we actually do. Retweet and share with your friends and followers! - You do **not** need a Periscope or Twitter account to view our broadcasts.
