Academy Award Nominated Documentary Shorts Showing at the DIA

With the rise in popularity of Netflix and Hulu, documentaries are also becoming more popular among viewers. More and more are becoming available as time goes on, and there are even ones being made for the sole purpose of being exclusive to one of the services. These are usually feature length documentaries, but what about the short documentary films that are just as good? They usually are overshadowed by the feature length ones, but not at the DIA! On Thursday, February 12th at 7:00pm, the DIA will be showing five short documentaries (apprx. 160 min. run time) to give them all their well-deserved spotlight. Come on out and catch them before the Academy Awards pick a winner on February 22nd!

Rochester College Articulation Agreement

Rochester College & Specs Howard School are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their educational partnership with the announcement of a renewed articulation agreement!

Previously Specs Howard School graduates were able to transfer up to 24 credits to Rochester College's Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication degree program.  Under the new agreement, graduates of the Broadcast Media Arts, Graphic Design, and Digital Media Arts programs will be able to transfer up to 33 credit hours.
